We Could Change Everything
This evening, I sent a donation to help those impacted by the earthquake in Myanmar. It wasn’t enough to be life-changing, just a quiet gesture, a thread of hope sent across the world. But as I did, I couldn’t help thinking how often we pour our energy into things that, in the end, feel so insignificant.
We argue. We perform. We busy ourselves with noise. Meanwhile, somewhere else, real suffering is unfolding in silence. It’s humbling. It’s heartbreaking.
What could the world look like if we channeled that energy into compassion? Into feeding the hungry, sheltering the displaced, healing those left behind, hidden in plain sight?
We don’t have to live in a world defined by extraction, conflict, or endless consumption. The Earth, this fragile, extraordinary home, isn’t ours to conquer. It’s ours to care for. And so are the people on it.
This isn’t just a dream. It’s a possibility. A choice, and I believe if we meet it with enough love, we really could change everything. This is a moment where we have it in our power to be the change we want to see in the world. Thank you to those who are willing and able to help.
