AIR, Artist In Residence, fall program

Today we begin to explore washes, painting on the maquettes to find what works and doesn’t for the first large size project, the bust of Farzana. After using different techniques and blends of washes and glazes, the decision will be made for the final treatment of the three quarter scale bust of my incredibly unique and opinionated mare, Farzana. Fun days ahead!

Next week we begin the large scale piece based on the wild horse, capturing the power and majesty of these incredible animals as it transforms itself from the earth into reality. Love this piece already!

Thank you for your interest. This is a monument piece and will sell for $60,000 when completed. Shipping would be very expensive as well, but it will be an absolute statement piece. A monument piece as it is large scale. Thank you
